About Mockingbird Hill
Mockingbird Hill is an exciting recording project led by award winning songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Andy Littlewood. Featuring a host of top guest vocalists and musicians, they deliver an eclectic mix of Blues, Pop, Soul, Jazz, and Rock. Their debut album ‘One Horse Town’ quickly gained rave reviews and worldwide radio airplay. The album track, ‘Transition Man’, was nominated for best original song at The 2013 British Blues Awards, and the single ‘Lady Sings the Blues’, featuring the soulful vocals of Malaya, hit the number 1 spot in the German pop jazz radio chart, beating the likes of Katie Melua and Jamie Cullum.
Their second studio album ‘Songs from the Small Room’ was released in 2023, and again received extensive radio airplay resulting in the album entering the IBBA Chart at number 12, and the RMR Contemporary Blues Chart at number 25. 'Songs from the Small Room' also achieved the accolade of 'Album of the Week' in the Hit-tracks Top 100. Mockingbird Hill are currently back in the studio working on material for their third album which is due for release in late 2025. The album will see collaborations with vocalist 'B'ee', along with guest musicians such as Giovanni Bruno, Dave Hunt, and Pete Nelson. The new single 'High Wire (feat. B'ee)' is out now available to stream and download on all major platforms.
