About Mockingbird Hill
Mockingbird Hill is an exciting recording project led by award winning songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Andy Littlewood. Featuring a host of top guest musicians, they deliver an eclectic mix of Blues, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and Country.
Their debut album ‘One Horse Town’ quickly gained rave reviews and worldwide radio airplay. The album track, ‘Transition Man’, was nominated for best original song at The 2013 British Blues Awards, and the single ‘Lady Sings the Blues’, featuring the soulful vocals of Malaya, hit the number 1 spot in the German pop jazz radio chart, beating the likes of Katie Melua and Jamie Cullum.
Their second album 'Songs from the Small Room' was released in 2023, and again received extensive radio airplay resulting in the album entering the IBBA Chart at number 12, and the RMR Blues Chart at number 25. 'Songs from the Small Room' also achieved the accolade of 'Album of the Week' in the Hit-Tracks Top 100.
Mockingbird Hill have recently received support from BBC Music Introducing, and their single 'High Wire (feat. B'ee)' won best song in the European Jazz category of the 2026 Intercontinental Music Awards. Their new 13-track album 'Melting Pot' is out now and includes collaborations with Giovanni Bruno, Vic Martin, Pete Feenstra, Andrius Linsdell, Dave Hunt, and Pete Nelson.
Andy Littlewood is the main songwriter and producer for artists such as Eva Carboni, B'ee, Last Chance Saloon, & Mick Simpson, and has also written songs for a diverse range of recording artists including Starship, Tiffany, Vanilla Ice, Darren Styles, Kathy Sledge, Sun'dra, Limahl, Hixxy, and Maxi Priest. His tracks have featured on a number of successful albums, singles and compilation CD's, with releases through Universal, Warner, BMG, Edel, Ministry of Sound, Virgin, Konami, and Smash Hits. Film and TV music credits include 'Extortion' (2017 film), NCIS New Orleans' (TV series, ), 'Peel' (2019 film), 'Riverdale' (Netflix), 'The Diary of a Future President' (Disney), 'Southern Fury' (2017 film), and 'Nespresso Cubania' (TV commercial).
